Eva and Kim traveled to Iquitos during February and March of 2013. Their tasks for the trip included meeting with the Kuska students, especially the two newest additions to the Kuska family, Jack and Francisco! For more information about those two, please see the student profiles page. All of our students are doing well, and the theme of the meeting actually became English lessons, because most of the students have become interested in learning English. As you can imagine, English is a wonderful skill to have for almost any job in Peru, because much of the technical literature is in English. We also discussed the opening of Kuska's new office (hopefully this will happen in July 2013, stay tuned!), an Internet cafe business model that our Business students are creating, and recruitment of students from the small villages outside Iquitos.
